Step One: Rinse out bowl well with warm water, wipe it up and down the walls with a paper towel. This cleans out any dust or residue
from the factory of pet store. |

Step Two: Put gravel, marbels, or any other bottom substrate in a pasta strainer rise well with warm water and move it around with your hands. This removes any dust which is common on many types of gravel and stones. |

Step Three: Rinse decorations and PLASTIC plants in warm water. This removes anything that might be on them, decorations tend to be
on store shelfs for a long time so they are probably
dusty. |

Step Four: Rinse live plants gently in cool water. This removes water from you dealers aquarium. |

Betta Tanks With Undergravel

Step One: Rinse out tank, heaters, and filters with warm water. This remove residue or dust from the factory or pet store. |

|
|
|
Step Two: Place undergravel filter in aquarium. It goes in before gravel, thats why they call it an UNDERGRAVEL FILTER. |

|

|
|
Step Three: Put gravel in a pasta strainer and rinse well in warm water, you will need to have gravel not marbels, not sand, the only option is gravel. This step removes the bits of gravel from the gravel, if they are not removed they may clog your filter. |

|
Step Four: Pour gravel on top of the undergravel filter, do not put to much in or your filter won't be able to remove debre from you aquarium. |

Step Five: Rinse PLASTIC plants and decorations. |

Step Six: Rinse live plants in cool water. |
|

Step One: Rinse out aquarium and equitment. |

Step Two: Step two follow companys instructions to put filter together. You could make a large book out of all of the different companys and there instructions, I don't have a large book here, I have a website. |

Putting Water And A Betta

Step One: Put conditioned water in to your container. |

Putting
A Betta In A Bag In: If your betta is in a plastic
bag, float the bag in your container for 10 minutes,
then add some water from the tank, in another 10 minutes
let the betta swim out of the bag. |

A Betta In A Cup In: If the cup has a lid
float it in the water in 10 minutes and then add some
water from the container, in another 10 minutes let
the betta swim out. If if your betta does not have
a lid, tape plastic wrap on and poke holes in it,
put the cup on it's side in the container for 8 minutes
then free the betta. |
